Tribute: Great-Grandmother Barbara, 8.7.24-3.25.09

Julian was Barbara Stewart McDonald's first great-grandchild. He never got to meet her, but she knew all about him and in fact had many photos of Julian nearby when she passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday. I hope Julian will inherit her creative spirit.

At long last, Spring seems to be peeking her head out from behind the snow. And with warmer weather comes: walking! Playing outside! Exploring! Being extra cute!

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

We spent most of the day outside. Julian loved it so much he napped in his stroller for 2 1/2 hours:

Happy 3 Months Julian!!

On March Third, 2009, Julian Albert Luker turned three months of age, which some would say means that he graduated from infancy to babyhood. We celebrated with a chocolate cake and dressing him in the craziest outfit we could assemble:

Dr. Sears says that you can't make a baby sleep-- rather, sleep overtakes the baby.
